NBA Star/Goat of the Week – Week 11

NBA Star of the Week – Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant of the LA Lakers

Kobe and the Lakers are on a roll

Kobe Bryant – Remember those trade demands from the offseason? Kobe isn’t demanding a trade to the Bulls now, thats for sure. The Lakers have won 10 of their last 11 and have climbed to only 1/2 game behind Dallas and Phoenix for best record in the Western Conference. They won all 4 games this past week as Kobe averaged 29.5 points, 6 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals.

NBA Goat of the Week – Joakim Noah

Joakim Noah

Even his own teammates hate Joakim Noah

Joakim Noah – Noah was suspended for one game for an outburst aimed at Bulls’ assistant Ron Adams. Then, in an unprecedented move, the other Bulls players voted unanimously to extend the suspension another game. So the players went out of their way to tell interim head coach Jim Boylan that one game was not enough. Wow! How much of an A-hole do you have to be to have that happen to you?! According to Boylan, Noah has also been involved in “a couple of situations where he’s been late or not doing what the Chicago Bulls do.” When I decided to do a Goat of the Week post this season, nonsense like this from chumps like Joakim Noah was exactly what I had in mind.

  1. im not a fan of lakers, but they are on a roll right now.. too bad they lost bynum to a knee injury.. the january is a tough month for the lakers as they are scheduled to face the suns, nuggets, spurs, mavs, cavs and pistons.. they will need all the luck they can get especially now that bynum is sidelined..

  2. Yeah, thats true. Its a good thing for them that they have been playing so well but they can still not afford to lose many games. Even with being tied for the best record in the West now, they are still only 5 games ahead of the Jazz, who are out of the playoffs as of now.

  3. now that bynum is out, it will be kobe bryant show once again.. lol!
